The work environment
The Sales division is in charge of equensWorldline's commercial account management, which is performed by regional Sales & Account Management teams consisting of Account Executives (responsible for strategic client development or client group development) and Account Managers (responsible for development of new and existing clients). In addition, we employ a Sales Management & Support team that provides support in contract management and the drafting of new SLAs, Sales Performance Management, Client Relationship Management (CRM) programs and General Sales Support.
What will be your job?
You will be in charge of one of equensWorldline's major accounts, serving as their primary sales contact. You and your client will be focused on producing mutually valuable outcomes as part of a co-creation partnership – basically a type of 'equensWorldline inside'.
You act and think at the strategic, tactical and operational levels and have an understanding of market trends and opportunities. You develop, maintain and manage client contact at several levels and in various areas (multi-level client coverage).
For this client, your name will be synonymous with equensWorldline – just like you’ll be at the top of our mind when we think of the client. That’s how central you are to this relationship. You’re always working on improving customer satisfaction, increasing revenues and perfecting change and service delivery. You monitor, and are responsible for, customer satisfaction and achieving sales targets.
Client intimacy is a key part of this role. You are well-versed in architecture and no stranger to the world of payments and the related technology. You also have a clear understanding of the relationships and interrelationships between the market, the various players involved, innovative developments and new market entrants, along with a vision of future trends in payments.

In addition, you meet the following requirements:
- MBA degree or equivalent work experience.
- Knowledge of and experience in the payments and cards industry.
- Fully up-to-date on innovative developments in the world of payments.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management in performance-based consultancy.
- Excellent command of English.
- Able to quickly develop and maintain a solid client-business network based on the multi-level client coverage matrix.
- Strong powers of persuasion to help you achieve concrete sales results.
- Able to identify and define clients' problems.
- Able to consistently measure and improve client satisfaction.
- Willing to work flexible hours if required (for example, if you need to send out a quote to your client by a certain time and according to the usual high standard).
What do we offer in return?
This is a full-time position (36 hours a week). Your hours will be set with the approval of your manager. Depending on your education and experience, your gross annual salary (including thirteenth month and holiday allowance) will be between 68.700 and 94.800 euros. Next to that we offer excellent secondary benefits such as a lease-car, an annual performance allowance, a nearly premium free pension and an interesting, challenging and international work environment.
