Senior Portfolio Manager - Passive Equities



Your department
The Equity department is within ACTIAM responsible for the daily management, implementation and development of the in house managed equity strategies. We have 9 bn EUR assets under management divided over different active and passive portfolio’s. We work closely with various other departments within ACTIAM. ACTIAM has the ambition to be one of the frontrunners in the area of sustainable investment, in which we will continue to invest. Our equity funds differentiate themselves by our proactive and sustainable investment approach.

The team currently consists of 7 experienced and driven portfolio managers.

Your function
As Portfolio Manager Passive Equities you will be part of the product team that manages the Responsible Equity Index Funds of ACTIAM. The Responsible Equity Index Funds have as goal realizing the same return as the corresponding Index without investing in companies that do not comply with the ACTIAM Fundamental Investment Principles. Our passive equity funds range is a fast growing product with bright future sales expectations in national and international markets. In the daily management of Index Funds you will be together with your colleagues responsible for management of in and outflows, rebalancing using a risk model, corporate actions, and assist the sales team. On top of this you will do research to develop the risk management of the funds further and to support continuous sustainable product innovation.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious colleague. You enjoy contributing in a structured way towards the team goals. You work accurately and enjoy supporting your colleagues.

Functie-eisen

The ideal candidate:

  • Has a master degree with excellent grades
  • Has at least more than 5 years of relevant experience
  • Can work systematically and with a high level of accuracy
  • Can work under pressure and has a flexible mindset
  • Has strong analytical skills and is familiar with quantitative models
  • Has good knowledge of visual basic, knowledge of Dimension, Matlab or Python is a plus
  • Has excellent comprehension of the Dutch and English language, both verbally and in writing
  • Strong personality who likes to work together with different departments
  • Has a strong work ethic with a desire to learn and succeed
  • Has affinity and preferably experience in responsible investing
  • Has a DSI registration or is prepared to get one
  • Has finished a CFA or VBA education
