AkzoNobel Specialty Chemicals (SC) provides products that are integral to a number of industries and high profile customers. Our rigorous approach to quality and our innovative and sustainable technologies have enabled us to achieve a leadership position in many markets worldwide. The chemicals and process aids we produce improve the properties of countless everyday items including foods, paints, detergents, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, paper, and electronics.

As a newly independent company we are committed to the optimization of all operations in order to increase our competitive strength, drive organic growth, increase customer satisfaction, boost employee engagement and sustainably improve our company’s performance. Continuous Improvement (CI) is central to this effort and drives the further standardization and simplification of key processes, embedding them in day to day operations and work ethics to ensure the future success of our organization.

You also organize, define and conduct training for all site layers and organization, training operators and managers in tools and standards and coaching and challenging senior operational managers.

To enable all this you implement the necessary support structures to ensure the sustainability of performance management and changes to site organization. Further, you conduct shop-floor activity analyses, interviews, data gathering and analysis, and compile these into improvement opportunities and impact.
