AkzoNobel's Specialty Chemicals (SC) business area provides a wide range of high quality and sustainable ingredients that are integral to numerous key industrial processes worldwide. Thus we serve high profile customers in sectors including paints, detergents, foods, plastics, cosmetics, construction, pulp and paper, pharmaceuticals, electronics, agro and oilfield applications. And it means that our ingredients are used to make possible a remarkable variety of life's essentials and familiar pleasures – everything from ice cream and asphalt to soup and soap.
Within this context, your mission in this role is to secure and develop the commercial and operative aspects of corporate travel on behalf of SC. This requires you to lead a team of regional travel managers around the world and act as the ‘Center of Expertise’ for a complex program used by all AkzoNobel employees and contractors travelling for business purposes.
Is this a challenge that matches your profile as an accomplished leader and negotiator with an excellent knowledge of the (national and international) travel industry? Do you combine an innovative mindset with powerful strategic and operational skills? Can you analyze and solve problems methodically while building strong cross-border, cross-cultural and cross-functional collaboration? Above all, can you make a real difference within our dynamic, multinational and multicultural business environment?
If you offer all this and more, we invite you to apply for the position of
