Pricing Excellence (PX) is central to our ongoing business success and we have embarked on a determined Global PX Program. Within this context, your mission in this role is to drive the development, roll out and implementation of the PX program in and across our business units (BUs) in Europe. In doing so you also act as a global champion for at least one of the main PX capabilities and you act as the point of contact for the BUs and PX peers.

The role and its responsibilities

This role is based at our Global Center in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and falls within our Sales & Marketing function. Driving the high profile PX Program according to program and time plan requires you to:

  • Perform outstanding stakeholder analysis and management to ensure mutually satisfying and value-creating initiatives between the PX program and BUs;

  • Define Pricing processes in alignment with the Sales & Marketing Excellence teams and the BUs, ensuring consistency within and across the BUs;

  • Proactively identify and embed the necessary PX competencies, capabilities, processes and training within the BUs;

  • Engage and support the BUs in implementing the program, continuously developing PX capabilities based on new insights.

    At all times you create links between your own area of expertise and others, working closely together with other Implementation Managers to align and improve the overall Pricing-, Marketing- and Sales Excellence program. Thus you share experiences and best practices within Pricing-, Marketing- and Sales Excellence and the BUs. You also establish and agree KPIs used to measure and monitor implementation progress and actively support the delivery and achievement of agreed KPI targets. To achieve this you ensure sufficient resources allocation.

  • Manage Pricing Analysts working on the PX program. You review employee development and provide clear and constructive feedback;

  • Strengthen the talent pipeline and stimulate employee engagement in order to build a workforce that reflects the societies and markets in which we do business;

  • Create an open environment in which everyone can perform at their best.

    Candidate profile

To apply for this position you must possess all the following attributes:

  • University degree (MBA preferred) in a Business, Marketing or Finance discipline;

  • At least 5 years of commercial management experience, preferably in multiple go- to-market models;

  • Experienced and skilled user of MS-Office applications, specifically Excel and PowerPoint and, ideally, Access;

  • Experience with CRM and ERP/BW;

  • Team player, able to influence and convince stakeholders from all levels in the organization;

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills, including fluent written and spoken English.
