Pricing Excellence (PX) is crucial to our ongoing business success and we have embarked on a company-wide PX Program. Within this context, your mission in this role is to define and drive the structures necessary to interface between the PX Program, AkzoNobel Senior Leadership, PX Implementation Teams, and business unit (BU) teams. In doing so you lead the governance structure of selected PX operational initiatives, consolidate relevant information, and enable the effective tracking and reporting of progress.

Pricing Excellence Program Manager
The role and its responsibilities
This role is based at our Global Center in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, from where you perform a wide range of activities that will enable the smooth implementation, running and reporting of the PX Program.
Thus you create processes and systems to enable effective interfaces between Senior Leadership and PX. You also set up the Monthly Performance Review between the Leadership Team and BUs.
Further, you develop and own the PX performance measurement tool (PX scorecard) and ensure adequate communication in the BUs, working closely with the Implementation Managers. You also familiarize Implementation Managers and BUs with PX metrics and enable them to replicate their KPI scores, explain results and develop action plans.
In addition you create and consolidate management information for operational reviews, and you develop standard visuals and reporting processes to monitor progress.
Finally, you are responsible for the Communication of the PX program in alignment with Communication functions.
Across all these activities you have considerable autonomy so you must be able to work independently and embody a ‘can do’ approach.
To apply for this position you must possess all the following attributes:
- Master’s degree in Business Management, Economics or similar and at least three years of relevant working experience;
- Solid financial and commercial background;
- Powerful ability to leverage best practices, manage multiple priorities and achieve on-time delivery;
- Powerful ability to identify relevant information and build relevant executive summaries;
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills;
- Outstanding communication and (global) networking skills including fluent written and spoken business English.
