Functieomschrijving

In this position you support the development and realization of SI&OP (Sales Inventory & Operational Planning) and Financial policy in such a way that the execution of the strategic and tactical activities will be realized and meet the requirements of the organization and more specific of the NW EMEA region. The position is divided into two focus areas: Supply Chain and Finance.

Focus on Supply Chain: You give support to the Supply Chain Manager. You will assist in the following:

  • Create, gather and apply data and provide ongoing reports
  • Develop and apply analytical tools and prepare metrics for supply chain functions using queries and reports
  • Import, clean, transform, validate and test data with the purpose of understanding or to make conclusions
  • Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality
  • Assist and train users in supply chain to empower them, when appropriate, to gather and analyse their own data
  • Participate in teams and improvement projects

More specific/detailed:

  • Advise on and share rules on forecast (order type: to forecast, to inventory, to order)
  • Measure sales forecast accuracy per SKU/per customer
  • Reinforce sales accountability with support of EMEA NW Supply Chain Manager and EMEA management team
  • Reinforce customer collaboration
  • Improve campaign size in line with inventory/forecast and operational requirements
  • Optimize raw material/packaging material order process report results
  • Advise on stock policy, including safety stocks, maximum stocks of finished product and raw materials, reporting days on hand inventory at SKU level
  • Analyse and report inventory at risk, including overage inventory, obsolete inventory, inventory out of shelf life analyse and report consignment inventories and vendor managed inventory process (portals)
  • Assist in (cross) training of key SAP users in EMEA hands-on support to SAP key users in the continuous improvement of the system.

Focus on Finance: You give support to the controller and the local management. You will assist in the following:

  • Budget and forecasting
  • Sales and margin review
  • Variance analysis
  • Profit and loss analysis
  • Financial reporting (Opex and Capex)
  • Assist in monthly, quarterly and yearly closing
  • Perform economic evaluations of proposed investment projects
  • Analyse and report accounts receivable projects
  • Analyse and report accounts payable status
  • Support projects to optimize material flow and storage

Functie-eisen

  • Bachelor and/or Master degree
  • 3-5 years’ experience in an international manufacturing environment
  • Advanced level of Excel, Word, database and web based skills
  • Knowledge and work experience of standard ERP system and data warehouse
  • Extensive knowledge of SAP
  • Knowledge about financial processes
  • Strong data driven problem solving skills and project management experience
  • Strong verbal, written, persuasive and conflict management skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of organization

Bostik Nederland B.V. in Roosendaal is part of the Global Business Unit nonwoven of the Bostik group (Part of Arkema). This business unit is managed by the Global Nonwoven Business team and for the EMEA region by the European Management Team (EMT). The following production locations belong to nonwoven EMEA: Roosendaal/The Netherlands, 6th of October City/Egypt and Colmar/France. Next to this there is the nonwoven-department of the R&D/technical service centre in Venette/France. On a number of areas (e.g. finance and supply chain) Roosendaal coordinates the activities for the region.
