This is the role
The EMEA Supply Chain Manager is aligned with the Specialty Fluids & Energy business and is responsible for Customer Service, Supply and/or Distribution Planning from regional- and global manufacturing locations and Product Support Services. This position provides effective guidance and coaching to four two reports. He/ she reports directly to the Global Supply Chain Manager and is part of Global SP&E Leadership Supply Chain Team, the EMEA Supply Chain Management Team, the European Operations Team and working closely with the Director Supply Chain Operations, EMEA/ APR. The key responsibilities and main tasks are to ensure customer satisfaction utilizing company procedures, under the guiding principles of safety procedures, quality management, coaching principles and effective teamwork, in close coordination and cooperation with other Eastman Functional and Business groups. This is a hands-on position responsible for continual analysis and developing plans that will enable the business to meet business strategies. Close coordination and cooperation with Demand Managers, Business Unit Managers and other Eastman Functional groups will be required.
- Manages the supply chain portion of large projects which are typically linked to the energy industry
- Provides input to regional 3rd party service provider contracts in close cooperation with Logistics and procurement; ensures business requirements are met.
- Participates in the regional & global business aligned Supply and Consensus meetings in close cooperation with the Supply Managers. Serves as link to regional Sales & Operations Execution(S&OE) Teams as applicable.
- Designs, generates, maintains and monitors monthly Key Performance Indicators
- Ensures full compliance with Corporate Standard Operating Procedures and all Sarbanes Oxley required processes
This is who you are
We are looking for someone with well-developed business acumen and a solid understanding of financial impact of Supply Chain Operations on P&L and process improvement. Someone with the capacity for assimilating and comprehending information and market trends to determine the "big picture". To be successful you demonstrated Leadership, Talent development and Coaching skills, preferably Six Sigma trained and excellent knowledge of advanced Supply Chain tools. Furthermore, you enjoy prioritizing work, handling multiple tasks, achieving goals and consistency deliver timely, accurate and positive results. A passionate leader who constantly looks for ways to improve things, not only for ourselves but also for your customer. A jack of all trades with the resilience to thrive in a constantly changing and dynamic environment.

You hold a Bachelor degree in Supply Chain or Science, preferrably combined with an MBA and at least 10 years of experience in Supply Chain operations within a manufacturing/ production environment.
