This is the role
The role of Global Key Account Director is instrumental in our journey to transform into a solution driven company. To do this, we are making a significant investment in our go-to-market capabilities as well as our innovation management skills.

As a Global Key Account Director, you manage a selection of strategic global accounts and generate growth aligned with strategy objectives. You develop innovative account strategies, translate strategies into tactical plans and prioritize opportunities while providing guidance and alignment to the global account team. As a natural networker, you understand customer’s key business drivers and its impact on business results and use this knowledge to develop mutually beneficial offerings. This requires you to engage the customer at business, technology and executive level to ensure that Eastman’s proposals are relevant and well received by our customer.

This is who you are
You will have the opportunity to take ownership and create value with demanding clients in a changing market. We are looking for someone with the capacity for assimilating and comprehending (end) market trends to determine the "big picture". You are an excellent relationship builder with proven track record in strategically developing large global accounts. Furthermore, you enjoy prioritizing work, handling multiple tasks, achieving goals and consistency deliver timely, accurate and positive results. A passionate, global oriented leader who constantly looks for ways to improve things through the entire value chain.


This is what you bring
This role requires the ability to think strategically and execute methodically. You are defined by a passion for selling, not taking ‘no’ for an answer and an inquisitive mind. Furthermore, you bring highly-developed business acumen, technical capabilities, global contracting experience and strong communication skills. Finally, you hold a Bachelor degree in Chemistry, Science, Engineering or related fields, preferably combined with an MBA and at least 10+ years of experience in strategic and consultative sales of specialty chemical products/ solutions.
