The work environment
Within an international team, the Investigator is positioned in the Issuing Processing division, department IP FRM Issuing and Acquiring Fraud OPS Belux & Nordics NL. We are responsible for Detecting and preventing the fraud on merchants in the Netherlands and support merchants, Police and Authorities.

What will be your job?
As an Investigator in the acquiring domain you will take the lead in gathering data and evidence and to build the investigations report for our customers. You closely align with Police or other entities for the follow-up of the cases.

As an Investigator you act for ongoing investigations on merchants between the analysts and our customers. You will align actions and containment measures in particular cases.

You take responsibility on compliancy with payment schemes and take the lead in handling breaches and alerts reported by the schemes.

You coordinate the compliance of risk policies with our acquiring customers. This includes setting standards and maintaining procedures related to merchant onboarding process and perform quality control on the process.


What do you have to offer?
  • Bachelor degree.
  • Field Investigation experience for example with the police.
  • Experience within Fraud investigations.
  • Fully proficient in the Dutch and English language.
  • Proficiency in Office tools, database search tools, and use of Internet to research information.
  • Knowledge of or experience within the card payment industry or financial sector can be an asset.
  • Honest and ethical with high levels of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Ingenuity and persistence to obtain information not readily available with an eye for detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to interact with other teams, clients and management.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills as well as a high degree of initiative.
  • A driver’s license.

Depending on experience and education the salary will be between €54.600,- and €75.100,- gross a year based on a 36 hour workweek.
