You will work with experimental models of HIV infection and latency, cell culture, molecular biology approaches and multicolor flow cytometry to investigate changes in HIV reservoir after treatment with latency reversing agents. You should hold a PhD in Immunology or Virology and have a strong background and hands-on experience in the area of HIV immunology, T cell biology and molecular biology. Experience with HIV latency models, next generation sequencing and bioinformatics is highly desirable.
Ambitious candidates with a strong background and hands-on experience in the area of Tumor Immunology and Molecular Biology will be considered. Experience with mouse models (art.9), next generation sequencing and bioinformatics is highly desirable. You must have a PhD, publications in leading peer-review journals and presentations at scientific conferences. You are expected to work independently, be highly motivated and have team spirit. You must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
Being able to present a certificate of good conduct, a valid proof of identity, diploma's and/ or relevant registration such as BIG/ RGS are conditions for the appointment.
ConditionsWe offer a fulltime contract of 36 hours per week in an inspiring and challenging work environment with excellent fringe benefits. You will receive a temporary position for 3 years. The gross monthly salary amounts a maximum of € 5.226,- (scale 11), depending on your level of education and relevant experience and based on a fullime working week of 36 hours. The terms of employment are in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement for University Medical Centers (CAO UMC).
