The section of Innovation Management at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM) invites outstanding candidates to fill a faculty position – assistant professor, associate professor or full professor – in innovation management. The new faculty member is invited to join the unit in September 2019 or any earlier at their convenience. The application deadline is the 30st of September 2018.
Requirements
You can apply for the position if you have completed (or expect to complete by autumn 2019) a PhD from a leading business school in innovation management or in related fields with a focus on innovation such as operations management, strategy, marketing or organisational behaviour. You must demonstrate a potential for excellence in research and teaching, among others by having papers published in, or submitted to, highly ranked journals. The Innovation Management Unit is a collaborative, research-oriented group of eight excellent faculty members from around the world: Murat Tarakci (Turkey), Stefano Tasselli (Italy), Helge Klapper and Dirk Deichman (Germany), Jan van den Ende, Henk de Vries and Daan Stam (The Netherlands) and Juan Madiedo Montanez (Colombia). The unit ranks among the top in innovation management in Europe in terms of its research productivity and impact. Our faculty members regularly publish in leading journals such as Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Annals, Strategic Management Journal, Organization Science, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management, Journal of Operations Management, and Production and Operations Management. The unit offers a master programme in innovation management, and executive education courses in innovation management and new business development. The department also contributes to RSM’s MPhil and PhD programmes.
