The Department of Finance at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM) invites applications for a full-time Lecturer in Finance (1,0 fte).
The lecturer position involves teaching courses in our master (MSc) and bachelor (BSc) programmes. The position also involves master thesis supervision. The MSc Finance & Investments programme is a world-class one-year general finance curriculum, where students follow compulsory and elective courses and write a thesis.
Successful applicants are expected to have a PhD degree in finance, accounting or economics and demonstrate a strong interest in teaching at the BSc or MSc level and a proven track record in this respect.
The conditions of employment comply with the collective labour agreement for Dutch Universities (CAO NU). The lecturer appointment initially is a one-year position, which can be extended. Favourable tax agreements may apply to non-Dutch applicants. We offer opportunities for lecturers to further develop teaching skills.
Erasmus University Rotterdam has attractive employment conditions which include a holiday allowance of 8 per cent, an end-of-year bonus of 8.3 per cent, and a generous number of vacation days.
