Functieomschrijving

  • Member of the Global management team of the CREFS department
  • Execution of projects, e.g. new builds (e.g. new ING Head Office), renovation of buildings (e.g. renovation of Financial Plaza in Amsterdam), fitting out of new leased buildings, investments in owned RE above threshold (TBD), etc.
  • Globally end accountable for the execution of projects
  • Sharing of cross border best practices
  • Owner of project budget
  • Introduce project budget for decision making according to ING Group decision Structure
  • Approve project process and organisation
  • Approve design
  • Decision making in case of issues/deviations etc.
  • Policies/framework w.r.t. governance, process and thresholds (e.g. threshold below which T1 can execute autonomous)
  • Organize and execute contacts with external RE players and stakeholders ( e.g. landlords, tenants, authorities,…)
  • Organize and execute contacts with internal stakeholders at T1 level (CEO, CFO, COO)
  • Assist Global Head of CREFS in organising contact at T2 level (CFO, COO, MBB).
  • Workplace strategy and formula management:
  • Globally end accountable for workplace strategy in Office buildings (Orange Workplace)
  • Globally end accountable for Formula management of Branches
  • Functional owner of ING Bank formulas for Head Offices and Branches
  • Organize and execute contacts with external RE players and stakeholders
  • Organize and execute contacts with internal stakeholders at T1 level (CEO, CFO, COO)
  • Decision making in case of issues/deviations etc.
  • Sharing of cross border best practices
  • Assist Global Head of CREFS in organising contact at T2 level (CFO, COO, MBB).
  • Contribute to setting up and building the new CREFS organisation on T2 and T1 level (both hierarchical and functional)
  • Contribute to the continuous development of the global CREFS department
  • Designs, elaborate and implement a globally uniform way of working for this specific discipline in all countries.
  • Implement the TFM Lot 2 contract for Project management and Formula management
  • Work Place strategy: translate Orange Workplace, developed in the Netherlands, to other countries, taking into account market differences in space consumption and local standards: “localise” Orange Workplace in a fact based manner.
  • Formula management Branches: building a business platform, enabling fact based decision making w.r.t. standardisation of Branches lay out an fit out cross border.

Scope

  • Project budget to execute approx. €100m p.a.
  • High visibility projects: e.g. new HQ for ING Bank (>€ 100m), new HQ New York (>€30m), etc.
  • Workplace strategy and formula management:
  • Workplace innovation (WPI) and strategy can play an important role in increasing employee-satisfaction, making ING attractive to top talent, raising productivity and changing culture
  • An inspiring working (ING office buildings) and commercial environment (e.g. ING Branches) is part of the corporate image and is generally recognized as an integral part of a company’s identity
  • Corporate Real estate is highly visible to ING’s customers

  • Globally end accountable for executing all Projects
  • Globally responsible for Policies/framework w.r.t. governance, process and thresholds (e.g. threshold below which T1 can execute autonomous) w.r.t. Projects
  • Responsible for organizing and executing contacts with external RE players and stakeholders ( e.g. landlords, tenants, authorities,…)
  • Responsibility to organise decision making at T1 level, liaising typically with T1 CEO’s, CFO’s and COO’s
  • Responsibility to assist the Global Head of CREFS in organising decision making at T2 level (CFO Bank, COO bank, MBB).
  • Project budget, timing, (qualitative) requirements
  • Workplace innovation and formula management: continuous fact based development of Orange Workplace, based on measurements, evaluations and market developments
