International Sales Manager

As International Sales Manager you are responsible for leading the sales in Europe for our Fishing Tackle Division. You are responsible for setting the strategy and budgets for achievement and the development of our business. Furthermore, you collect information about market developments and –requirements and report to the Managing Director of Shimano Europe Fishing Holding.
Together with the local M.D.’s and their sales teams you will be closely involved in the local sales activities and will maintain a frequent contact with the European Marketing Manager and the Team-Leader Product Coordination.
Shimano is looking for an independent manager with international awareness and cultural sensitivity. You are a great team player, very good at building relationships. You take ownership and you have an open, trustworthy attitude. Your profile:
- Bachelor degree, academic level of thinking.
- Five years’ experience in an intercultural, commercial management position.
- Five years’ experience in Marketing/sales.
- Strong analytical capabilities combined with strong business focus.
- Excellent influencing and persuading skills in an international environment.
- Experience in- or working with wholesalers.
- Fluent in English and Dutch.
The International Sales Manager will work from the office in Eindhoven. Travelling through Europe takes approximately 25% of the role, mainly European Sales Offices, distributors, dealers and events.
