As a postdoctoral researcher you will work on a project to determine and optimise the properties of crystalline thermochemical materials in order to select the most suitable materials for use in a heat storage system. This two-year project will be conducted by the Solid State Chemistry group at the Institute for Molecules and Materials (Radboud University, Nijmegen) and is part of a collaboration involving several researchers and academic and industrial partners aiming to develop a commercial heat storage system.
As a postdoctoral researcher you must have a PhD in chemistry, physics or materials science and should be interested in the physical chemistry of crystal growth. Experience in a relevant area and good experimental skills are required. This project will be performed through interactions with various people. Good social skills are therefore essential, as is a good command of spoken and written English.
