Functieomschrijving

The Robotics group at the University of Groningen has one opening for a postdoctoral fellow within the research area of soft robotics. The research position is part of the European Horizon2020 project MAGNIFY and will focus on the design and the control of soft actuators.

Functie-eisen

The successful applicant has a background in mechanical or electrical engineering, applied physics or in a closely related discipline. He or she should possess excellent skills and practical experience in one or more of the following research areas: (soft) robotics, mechatronics, and nano-/micro-fabrication technologies.

Conditions

The University of Groningen offers a salary depending on qualifications and work experience starting from a minimum of € 2,640 to € 4,166 (salary scale 10 Dutch Universities gross per month for a full-time position). We offer a position for 24-30 months. An interview will be part of the selection procedure.
