Currently we are looking for a fulltime:

Assistant Business Controller
Tilburg | Fulltime

Purpose of the job:
Perform centralized Cost control, Business planning & analysis, ensure timely and accurate AR/ AP billing cycles and provide effective analysis & support to Operations, Transport and innovation in order to continuously improve the SDSNL controlled operations.

Key activities:
Billing management:
You will act as contact person for assigned customers and vendors for timely billing, invoice verification, invoice posting and all questions related to billing in line with commercial agreements. Analytical, excel and communication skills are required to analyze contractual agreements, execute system settings/configuration and billing cycles towards vendors and customers.

Business Control:
In this role you have to support the team to bring the (logistics) business control function to the next level. Focus should be on analyzing actual costs and revenue levels versus the budgeted costs and revenue levels and identify areas for improvement

Part of the role also includes participation in projects. SDSNL is a fast moving and rapidly changing organization in which there are many new (system) developments and improvement areas. Expected is to safeguard that the billing and (logistics) controlling part is properly covered within the projects scope and improvements/efficiencies are achieved.


Our ideal candidate is a decisive and flexible problem-solver with a strong hands-on mentality that is used to working in teams.

  • Bachelor / Master degree (Preferably in business economics/business management)
  • Fluent in English, already living in The Netherlands and in possession of a working permit
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Financial Knowledge
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Easy adapter to systems
  • Problem solving skills
