As assistant professor, you independently develop and teach courses in the bachelor Public Administration / Public Governance (in Dutch and English) and master Public Governance (English), which include courses in the field of public policy and management, as well as in research methodology (qualitative and quantitative). You also participate in the various kinds of research carried out by the Section for Politics and Public Administration. In the course of your appointment, you will develop your own research profile, in keeping with the research profile of the section, in which transformations and innovations in public governance are central. The intended ratio between teaching and research is roughly 45%-45%, with the remaining 10% for administrative duties.

You have a PhD in Public Administration or a topic relevant to Public Administration in a related discipline. Your growth potential in the field of research is evident from already published international journal articles.
