We are a fast growing B2B E-commerce company in the solar industry. In the next few years there will be major developments in the field of solar panels, inverters, batteries, mounting systems and energy management. We want to support our customers (solar installers all over Europe) as much as possible by offering them the right products, service, price and information. All through a perfect online customer experience.

In this role you will be responsible for driving the company’s growth through online marketing programs and breakthrough marketing campaigns that will build brand-awareness and drive customer engagement. This role leads creative expression across all customer touch points with a strong digital first orientation and understanding of how to develop meaningful (online) content that drives commercial success.

You will be Leading and professionalizing the marketing team consisting of 5 marketing professionals, and likely to grow to >15 in the next 18 months. With your team you drive creative excellence with a goal of making marketing communications and design a strategic competitive advantage for Solarclarity.

In this role, you will:
  • Help further develop and evolve the company’s marketing strategy, which is highly online focused, in conjunction with major stakeholders: MD, Sales and Product Management.
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure brand consistency and coherence across all customer touch points to maximize marketing ROI and impact.
  • Lead the strategy, concepting, production, and rollout of (mostly) online marketing campaigns. Always striving for creative excellence and commercial success - includes: social media marketing, google advertising, content marketing & events.
  • Be the owner of the Solarclarity webshop and continuously improving its value.
  • Your team execute the country marketing activities focussed at growing our (online) business in all focus countries. You will do this in close cooperation with the heads of sales in each country.
  • Develop and manage marketing budgets, measure and optimize marketing programs to deliver highest ROI.
  • Be the owner of the marketing automation system (Hubspot) and the processes managed by this system.
  • Report to the managing director and be part of the management team.

Who are you?
  • First and foremost: a top marketeer that is highly online focussed and who has successfully demonstrated this in previous roles.
  • A manager who balances aesthetics and a commercial mindset to drive exceptional results.
  • You have highly developed analytical skills to measure, analyse, and optimize marketing performance.
  • Excellent project and workflow management skills— ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines simultaneously.
  • You work comfortable in a hands-on, fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
  • You are fluent in English and one of the following languages: Dutch, German, Swedish or French.
