A researcher molecular biology in the area of risk assessment procedures for complex plant products, including GMOs and products from synthetic biology. The position relates to the assessment of current risk evaluation and traceability strategies for new food and feed products moving towards the market. The researcher molecular biology will participate in different projects based on his/her broad molecular-biological background, and work independently as well as part of project teams to achieve the set objectives.
- A doctoral degree in molecular biology or similar molecular biological expertise.
- Keen interest in aspects of food and feed safety, authenticity and traceability issues.
- Effective communication and cooperation skills.
- Demonstrable good writing skills
- Explorative, innovative, enthusiastic, focused character
- Mastering of the Dutch language in speaking and writing is required
- Good mastering of the English language in speaking and writing
ConditionsAn interesting fulltime (36 hours a week) research job in a team of professionals with a one year start and possibilities for extension, evaluated before the end of one year. A more permanent position can be explored. We offer a salary based on position and experience (max. €4847,- gross per month) in combination with excellent secondary employment conditions.
