We are looking for a President for the Central Bank of Aruba

Fulltime | Oranjestad, Aruba

As President of the CBA, you are ultimately responsible for formulating and implementing monetary policy, promoting the stability of the financial system, and safeguarding the integrity of the financial sector. The President acts as an independent authority within the legal framework of Aruba as laid down in the National Ordinance on the Central Bank of Aruba and reports to the Minister of Finance. You lead the organization and represent the CBA both nationally and internationally.

Job Requirements

• Completed university degree in general or monetary economics;
• In-depth knowledge of monetary economics, financial markets, and public finance;
• Thorough understanding of financial-economic legislation and international standards;
• Insight into corporate governance, risk management, and compliance;
• Preferably knowledge of finance and accounting;
• Familiarity with the legal and institutional frameworks of central banks.

The appointment is for a period of 5 years with a one-time possibility of reappointment for an additional 5 years. Employment conditions to be agreed upon.
