Xomnia

CEO position

In the next growth phase, Xomnia is looking for a CEO who can enable

and realise growth. The CEO will develop a clear vision, strengthen external positioning, and create commercial maturity, focus and execution power together with the team.

This leader brings natural presence and charisma, energises others and represents the DNA of Xomnia externally. The CEO actively shapes the company’s external positioning and feels comfortable speaking on stage, engaging with the press, and representing Xomnia at client and market events.

The ideal CEO has a sharp sense of where the market is heading and a genuine passion for data and technology. While not necessarily a data scientist, he or she understands the technological context sufficiently to engage meaningfully with deeply technical teams and highly analytical professionals.

Xomnia is looking for a connecting leader, not a traditional, corporate leadership profile.

The CEO brings as a person:

  • Entrepreneurial Mindset. Identifies opportunities and translates them into action, structure and consistent follow-through. Operates explicitly in close collaboration with the management team rather than in a solitary manner.
  • Inspiring Leader. Possesses deep market insight and is able to guide, inspire and provide perspective to both the management team and the broader organisation.
  • Visible and Engaging. Brings natural charisma that resonates with clients, employees and the wider market. Open, approachable and socially adept, engaging people in an authentic and positive way. Combines this with sufficient structure and professionalism, without displaying corporate behaviour.
  • Strong People Manager. Challenges management team members to bring out the best in themselves and their teams. Acts as a connector, stimulates ownership and builds a strong, complementary leadership team.
  • Analytical and Data-Driven. Strong analytical capabilities with experience in KPI-driven management, using data to drive focus, prioritisation and execution.
  • Excellent Communicator. Communicates clearly and convincingly with shareholders, the management team and the organisation. Able to articulate strategy, choices and expectations effectively.
  • Decisive and Steadfast. Makes decisions, provides direction and maintains focus. Engages people in decision-making and fosters shared commitment to the long-term vision.
  • Change-Oriented. Sees the bigger picture, anticipates future developments and understands where acceleration is required. Asks the right questions to drive transformation, professionalisation and execution.
  • Results-Oriented. Combines ambition with discipline and execution power. Actively steers towards concrete results, delivering growth and value creation while maintaining continuous attention to sustainable performance and long-term impact.

Experience & Responsibility

  • P&L Responsibility. Proven experience with full P&L responsibility within a growing IT, tech, data consulting or professional services organisation of comparable scale.
  • General Management with Commercial Strength. A strong track record in general management, with commercial performance as a consistent core theme. Commercially sharp, market-oriented and results-driven.
  • Growth & Transformation Experience. Extensive experience leading organisations through phases of rapid growth, transformation or professionalisation, including associated integration challenges.
  • Sales & External Positioning. Experience in leading (strategic) sales processes and maintaining long-term relationships with C-level decision-makers. Possesses a relevant and active professional network.
  • Data & AI Affinity. Clear affinity with and experience in Data & AI-driven environments; understands both market developments and the underlying technological context.
  • Team & People Leadership. Demonstrated experience in building and leading high-performing teams, including effectively collaborating with and connecting professionals from diverse backgrounds and nationalities.
  • Education. University-level education (Master’s degree), preferably with a technical or STEM background.
  • Private Equity Experience (preferred). Experience working within a private equity environment is a strong plus.
  • M&A Experience (preferred). Experience with acquisitions, including integration processes and ensuring employee engagement and retention.
