This is an exciting opportunity to manage a team which ensures efficient and client-oriented organisation of education management support processes within the faculty. The OSA needs to keep correct application of formal legislation and regulation in mind. You will work closely together with the cluster coordinators in supervising the support staff of the faculty office. The translation of educational policies of the faculty and the university into transparent and effective administrative processes is key. Therefore you have to anticipate and contribute to strategic developments within the faculty and the university and participate in faculty- and university-wide deliberative bodies aimed at identifying developments and coordinating operational processes. You will provide guidance to implementing projects, such as those pertaining to streamlining the educational information supply.
We are looking for an inspiring, enthusiastic manager with an academic mind-set and a Master degree, who is well aware of the processes and deliverables that are part of an academic educational organisation.
Do you have the flexibility to balance between the needs of students, academic staff and the support staff while keeping in mind the goals of the FASoS faculty strategy, than you might be the right person for this job.
We expect you to work in a transparent and efficient way and to motivate your staff to perform in accordance to their expertise and abilities. Strong communicative skills, and sound proficiency in oral and written language, both in Dutch and in English are imperative. Are you also proactive, service-oriented and do you have insight in –and experience with– complex operational processes, than you might be the new colleague we are looking for.

Each year the standard salary is supplemented with a holiday allowance of 8% and an end-of-year bonus of 8.3%. Other secondary conditions include e.g. partially paid parental leave.
You have to be willing to move to (the vicinity of) Maastricht. If you do not already live in Maastricht (or its direct surroundings) you will be eligible for an allowance for moving costs.
