You will be a member of a successful group with a both ambitious and supportive culture with ample opportunity for personal development in an attractive international work environment. We aim for outstanding research and world-class teaching in university Bachelor, Master and executive programmes.
We are hiring to accommodate the growing national and international demand for our education. Our teaching is research-based and relevance, responsibility and an international focus are key. We foster our excellent relations with a vibrant business community in the Amsterdam region and globally.
The starting date will be 1 September 2021. An earlier date is an option.
The job entails a six-year tenure-track position. Conditional on meeting the tenure-track criteria, the school will offer a tenured position as Associate Professor.
Your main tasks will be to:

We are looking for candidates who take their teaching seriously and have published, or show a clear potential to publish in top-tier international journals, with experience from participating, presenting and/or organizing at relevant workshops or conferences and an active research agenda in the field.
For the position in the field of strategy we are looking especially for candidates with a clear research and teaching profile at the crossroads of (competitive) strategy, innovation, and change. In line with this profile, we are looking for candidates interested in strategic innovation, dynamic capabilities, organizational learning, exploration-exploitation, and organizational search behavior, against the backdrop of changing business landscapes and disruptive technologies.
For the position in the field of international business we are looking especially for candidates with a clear research and teachning focus on international business, preferably whose research agenda links up with the ongoing research at our section in the context of corporate governance, corporate social responsibility and ethics, sustainable development, innovation and global mobility, offshoring, emerging economies, culture, and digital transformation in global value chains.
For the position in the field of innovation we are looking for scholars who share our passion for the field of strategy and digital innovation and will contribute to our research and teaching on digital transformation. Digital transformation has become a key strategic issue for companies as it disrupts competitive environments, value chains, business models and professions within organizations. Drawing on research that uncovers the fundamentals of digital strategy, platform business models and innovation, the candidate should contribute to an integrated view of leading digital transformation and innovation.
